Community Pool?

I've been looking for a nice community pool in the area - or a Y or a rec center or something with a large body of water for me to float in...Google isn't helping at all, so I thought I'd ask here. Thanks!

Try the Y on Almaden. Great facility at a reasonable monthly membership price. I don't think you can pay per use though.

Willow Glen Middle School has open swim daily http://www.sanjoseca.gov/prns/citywide-aquatics/ Presentation has open swim from 6 - 8 most nights.

First responder must have meant the YMCA on The Alameda -- it's got a great pool and there isn't a Y on Almaden. We joined the Y a few months back. It's great for an active family...$70/month gets you access to 5 different facilities, the 2 closest being on Alameda near 880 and on Santa Teresa just past Oakridge. All the Y's (as far as I know) have pools with lap lanes set up and recreational swim areas for bobbing around with or without kids.
